Wow, what a month it’s been!

The first snow of the season has now fallen here at Stillpoint Farm, and the Red Eye Porter has been really hitting the spot (As did those special stouts at our recent Captain O’s Stout and Oyster event!).  It won’t be long before we put on some cask porter aged on amburana wood.

But we’ve got a new 100% Maryland beer in the tank that should be releasing soon!

Steamin’ Eagle, a nice hoppy California Commoninspired by an old Bay Area favorite. This American-born “hybrid” style straddles the line between ales and lagers in a truly tasty way, thanks to a generous helping of our Monocacy hop!

And speaking of lager, Ray and I should be getting a head start on our spring lager here very soon as well, and we’re thinking big!  The plan is to go for a nice strong and tasty Maibock, but with a unique Maryland twist!  Stay tuned.
