Well folks, another cold month is behind us. We still have some winter ahead, but hopefully we have seen the coldest of the winter of 2024/25.
But cold weather generally makes for good lagering! We’ve got a nice big Rye Bock conditioning for spring, and it’s coming along splendidly.
Also, the overwhelming positive response to our newest lager (see Steamin’ Eagle, our California common) has put thoughts into my head…
…lagery thoughts…
…apiary thoughts…
And so we are excited to announce that our biennial favorite bier de miel, Dollyhyde Apiary, will be brewed with our house lager yeast for the first time ever! Featuring local lavender from Serene Lavender farm, chamomile, and a whole freakin’ BUCKET of local wildflower honey, this beauty might just be the best Dollyhyde Apiary yet!
Also bubbling away in the tanks are some great batches of Goldie’s and Coppermine Creek, both of which are having casks made up. Get ready for some new versions of these old favorites!
Cheers!
