March is here! There’s been some sunshine and tee shirt weather! Was that a honeybee?!
Quick, break out the spring beer early!
And so, we excitedly announce that Rye Bock’s release is imminent.
Rye Bock
6.6% ABV, 27 IBU
We’re saying hello to spring in a big way! This delicious bock welcomes the season with a nice warming hug. Maryland-grown and malted barley and rye provide the malty backbone, and Maryland-grown nugget and brewer’s gold hops perfectly balance this beer to create a deliciously rich and malty lager.
This rye bock is a beautiful amber color, with aromas of fruit and malt emanating from underneath its nice pale head. Tastes of rye with notes of sweet fruits are emphasized by a good cold fermentation for a nice clean finish.
We at Milkhouse love our bocks, and this one is certainly going to be our new favorite!
