Time for another brew news already?!

Big news first- Brewer Harry has gotten the help he needed!  No, not therapy or a million dollars- an assistant brewer!  We’d love to introduce Ray to all of you as the newest member of our Milkhouse family.

Now for the beer!

The nights (and even some of these days) have crisped up, and the leaves are falling. And you know what that means?  REEYE PORTER season, baby!  Come celebrate the return of a seasonal favorite in November. Roasty, dark, and delicious.  Maybe I’ll even whip up a keg or two of the vanilla variant.

And for those who refuse to let go of those summertime vibes (hey, we’re not here to judge), HomeSTATE Hefeweizen will return this month as well.  You spoke, we listened.

Brew day is coming soon for our big winter beer, and this year it’s going to be a beauty, folks. I’ve got a ~9% BALTIC PORTER recipe formulated and am looking forward to tackling this elusive lager.

And since the Baltic Porter will be such a big beer, there will be a second runnings beer made with the same grain!  This will be a ~4.5% crushable black lager.

And speaking of lagers, I’m sad to announce that our Honey Brown Lager has kicked.  This beer was popular with staff and customers alike, and will be worked back into the brew schedule soon. In the meantime, Oktoberfest Märzen is flowing and delicious.
