Hard to believe that we’re here already. These summer brew days have been brutally hot, but we do it for y’all. Thankfully the beer is cold.
Not a ton of stuff to announce this month, as we snuck out so many goodies towards the end of July. Enjoying that delicious hoppy Green Farmer Pale Ale 24? Made with only Chesapeake Pils malt and local Cascade hops, this was designed to be the ultimate summer pale ale.
The Early Märzen has hit the taps as well! While most of that batch cellars the days away while awaiting Oktoberfest festivities, we just can’t resist breaking some out early. At 5.5% ABV and 21 IBU, this classic copper colored lager features Maryland-grown Munich, Pilsen and Pale malts and Maryland-grown Brewer’s Gold hops in a perfect balance. This slightly sweet malty backbone is delicately hopped and lagered for several months before serving.
Have you tried our Fever Peach Wild Ale yet? This sour pucker-upper is a hit. We also offer it in a blend with our Farmhouse ale that is summer in a glass.
The casks will continue, and we have more of our wild sours set to premiere! Keep an eye out, folks. Cheers!
Sometimes it takes a good collaboration to propel oneself outside of one’s comfort zone. In doing so, new techniques can unlock new heights. In this spirit, Milkhouse Brewery embarks on our newest collaborative brew with fellow Maryland farm brewery Black Locust. Details to come.
