Hot and dry? Yeah, us too.
Green Valley Gose is now pouring!
4.5% abv, 10 ibu
Milkhouse’s first ever thirst quenching gose is here, just in time for summer. This is a pale, crisp, tart, and delicious ale brewed with Maryland malted wheat and barley, then fermented using a unique yeast strain of Lachancea thermotolerans isolated from the bark of a tree. Lovely notes of sour candy, light fruit, coriander and salt make for a most refreshing pint!
Also premiering this month at our mini fest are TWO new beers in our Catoctin Heritage series. The first is our recent collaboration with Hopkins Farm Brewery, Too Many Cooks Cream Ale. At 4.5% abv and 14 ibu, this delectable cream ale was brewed in our small brewery by no less than FIVE brewers using Maryland malt from Chesapeake Malting Company as well as malted bloody butcher corn from our pals at Murphy and Rude. They say that too many cooks can spoil the broth, but we think that’s not true… Hopped to perfection with Monocacy hops, this is a great summer beer!
And the other release? It’s the first of the 2024 Märzen! Our usual recipe was modified to use only Monocacy hops, and we think it’s easily the best Märzen that we have ever made. Don’t take my word for it though, get on out here for our mini-fest July 6!
Also, Catoctin Heritage Vienna Lager is getting low. Enjoy it while you can, folks!
Cheers!
