It’ll be a quick Brew News this month, folks. We’re brewing and bottling up a storm to get ready for the nice warm weather (and the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival next month!).
April! We finally got there, and spring feels pretty not bad! The honey bees have been buzzing around the farm, and so we will release Dollyhyde Apiary Ale this month! A delicious and dry 6.3% Bière de miel with added Maryland-grown lavender (thanks, Serene Lavender Farm in Sykesville!) and chamomile.
How about that Green Farmer 22. Apparently we have some real fans of the Monocacy hop around here, because it’s almost GONE! Drink it while you can. Green Farmer 23 is in the tank now and it’s a throwback to an old favorite here- Cascade SMaSH! That should be ready this month as well.
As March ends, so does our Baltic Porter season… the last keg is tapped and waiting for you. Enjoy this rich chocolatey strong lager while it’s still pouring- I recommend a LAGER FLIGHT featuring all five of our current lagers! That’s right, FIVE lagers!
Oh, while on the topic of porter, the season will soon be coming to an end for Red Eye Porter. It’s always sad to see this beer leave for the warm months, but I promise that Ray and I will have some freshies ready for you all in its place!
