April. The month where we all have to finally break out our lawnmowers again (if we haven’t already!).
Seems an appropriate time to release some lawnmower beers, eh? This month will see Harry and Ray brewing some great lawnmower beers.
Mayta’s Peruvian Purple Corn Cream Ale batch two is on the schedule. Have you stopped in at Mayta’s Peruvian Kitchen and had one yet? This delicious and unique brew showcases a fantastic Peruvian ingredient and compliments their fantastic menu perfectly! Stop in if you’re in Frederick for a beer and some ceviche!
Which remind me, the second of our Mayta’s beer is conditioning now as well. This is a pale lager featuring toasted chulpe corn and a hint of salt sourced from Peru’s sacred valley. Hopefully this will be available not only at Mayta’s Peruvian Kitchen, but at Milkhouse Brewery’s taproom as well.
Y’all have been so patient in waiting, and the maltsters have assured me MARYLAND WHEAT IS BACK ON THE MENU, FOLKS! A new batch of Homestate Hefeweizen will be brewing very very soon! For now we still have this in delicious bottles, but I know some of you just want it back on draft. This one’s for you.
What else? Hmmm. Oh yes, expect some new Catoctin Heritage beers to be premiering soon. This season will see the the return of two old favorites, Stillpoint Kölsch and Fieldhand Tart Table Beer! Both recipes have been modified to utilize our unique Monocacy hop. Milkhouse is the only place to taste this hop, and we don’t intend to stop!
Oh yeah, we now have hard seltzer (if that’s how one chooses to live one’s life) made by Pub Dog.
See you at the eclipse party!
