Maryland malt from Chesapeake Malting Company and malted heirloom Bloody Butcher corn from our pals at Murphy and Rude come together again for yet another delicious libation. The nice light and malty nose gives way to a crisp clean cream ale, soft on the palate, with notes of cereal grains and a subtle hint of fruitiness and blush from the corn. Hopped to perfection with Brewers Gold and Monocacy hops, we think this cream ale is sure to please. Lovers of Too Many Cooks and Catoctin Heritage Cream Ale may find a new favorite here!

This exceptional and unique lager was brewed with toasted chulpe corn from Peru, and lightly salted with Peruvian salt sourced from the Sacred Valley. Crisp, delicious, and unlike anything we’ve brewed before.  This will be on tap exclusively at Mayta’s Peruvian Cuisine in Frederick, Maryland and the Milkhouse Brewery taproom.  5.5% abv and 12 IBU.

An old favorite is back!  Celebrate the dog days of summer with the perfect summer brew- our Citrus Summer Wheat has returned and is better than ever. Wheat and barley come together with a Belgian twist!  Bigger and brighter than our Homestate Hefeweizen, this 6.5% wheat ale has been brewed with lemon, orange and grapefruit peel with lemon balm also added. Heat advisory?  We’ll drink to that!

Stillpoint Farm Red – A dry, easy drinking light blend of grapes grown in Frederick County with a fruit nose and a combination of spice and oak on the finish. Stillpoint Farm White – A crisp dry blend grown in Frederick County – light, aromatic, and refreshing.

4.5% abv, 10 ibu Milkhouse’s first ever thirst quenching gose is here, just in time for summer.  This is a pale, crisp, tart, and delicious ale brewed with Maryland malted wheat and barley, then fermented using a unique yeast strain of Lachancea thermotolerans isolated from the bark of a tree.  Lovely notes of sour candy, light fruit, coriander and salt. Malt - Chesapeake Pilsner, Bear Branch Pale Wheat, Oats Hops - Brewers Gold Adjuncts - Coriander, Peruvian salt

American Robust Porter with Maryland Cascade hops, Zeus hops, black patent malt, chocolate malt and Chico yeast. The dark chocolate and molasses nose is complimented by a slight hop fruitiness creating a comforting and complex finish with a touch of sweetness. 5.5% ABV, 40 IBUs

A sour golden ale fermented in an oak foeder with yeast and bacteria cultured from local peaches and then moved to a red wine barrel to age.  5.6% ABV

5.5% abv, 35 ibu There’s a fine line between an American Pale Ale and a Session IPA, and this ale HOPS across that line to deliver perhaps our most cone-forward Green Farmer ever.  With a nice helping of Maryland grown and malted Munich to add some color, this one really does seem to hit the ol’ spot. Is it a dialed up Green Farmer Pale Ale?  Or is it perhaps a dialed back Stairway IPA?  However you want to think of it, it is delicious!

6% abv, 21 ibu Summer has come to a close, and so has our supply of Catoctin Heritage Kölsch. However, we are unwilling to say goodbye to the style, and are happy to introduce a kölsch for cooler weather- Catoctin Heritage Rye Kölsch! Made with 100% Maryland grown ingredients, this beer pairs our beloved Monocacy hop with Bear Branch’s Cara Rye malt for the first time. The result is a very drinkable beer with a perfect balance of character from both ingredients. Fans of our Catoctin Heritage Vienna Lager will have a new favorite here

This Irish Red pays homage to one of our favorite Irish farmers, Tom’s cousin Jimmy Nelly. With MD Grown two row and roasted barley From Dark Cloud, this delightfully malty Red is a true MHB favorite! 5.5% ABV, 25 IBUs

Dry Irish Stout with Maryland Cascade hops, roasted barley, flaked barley and Chico yeast. This traditional Dry Stout has notes of coffee and dark chocolate with low hop bitterness and a smooth and dry finish. 4.5% ABV, 40 IBUs

India Pale Ale with Maryland Cascade hops and Chico yeast. This IPA features an earthy nose and huge malt backbone that is balanced with the citrus and spice of the hop bitterness that lingers to a dry finish. 7.2% ABV, 60 IBUs

English Style Bitter with Maryland Cascade hops, Carroll County wild flower honey and Chico yeast. Traditional English Style bitter with a delicate hop balance of earth and spice. 4.2% ABV, 40 IBUs

Belgian Farmhouse with Maryland Brewers Gold hops, Carroll County wild flower honey, chamomile and Trappist Ale yeast. Light and refreshing with notes of spice and a touch of fruit. 4.5% ABV, 20 IBUs
