Another month has flown by too fast! Warmer weather is soon approaching, and so we will be releasing some great spring beers.
Firstly, our Spring Märzen will soon be kegged and pouring. Lighter and more delicate than our Oktoberfest Märzen, this light copper lager is a wonderful way to say “well hey there, spring!”
We are also introducing our new Caramel Rye Kölsch. This delicious beer clocks in at 5.2% and features a hefty dose of Dark Cloud’s Caramel Rye malt and Chesapeake Malting’s new Pilsen malt. Lightly hopped and quite crushable, this beer will premiere this month and we are quite excited about it!
Finally, plans are in the works for GREEN FARMER XX! The twentieth iteration of our 100% Maryland pale ale will see us come full circle and return to rye! Not since GF3 have we utilized Maryland rye in the recipe, and never before have we used Dark Cloud’s Caramel Rye in a pale ale. This should be a delicious pale ale, around 5.5%.
