BREW NEWS
It’s almost spring! We’ve had a few days near 70° and we like it! We have even seen some of our honeybees out and about on the farm.
So it’s a perfect time to release batch two of Heather Hill Honey Brown Lager! This beer was so popular that we decided to make it a year-round offering. 4.8% ABV, 13 IBU, pairs best with everything. Pouring now at Milkhouse Brewery!
And with March upon us, our spring Märzen will return soon! This wonderful copper lager is made with 100% Maryland ingredients and is a wonderful balance between malt and hops. 5.4% ABV, 25 IBU. Expect this mid-March.
Due to supply issues, 2022 is likely going to see a break from our easter release of Dunkels Bock. Instead, I’m going to use some *brand new* Maryland malts to craft a Rye Kölsch. But fear not, lovers of dark lagers, for the Baltic Porter and the Baltic Brown Lager are both still pouring!
Also, because of the supply issues, Maryland All Stars IPA may have some changes made to it, or we’ll take a short break while we await the next batch of Maryland-malted Munich grain. We simply refuse to tarnish this recipe with non-Maryland ingredients. Thanks for your understanding. Maryland All Stars IPA is still flowing now though, so come have a couple.
Cheers to spring, my friends!
