The produce has started!
If you haven’t done so yet check out the Strawberries from Pleasant Hill Farm and greens from Chestnut Creek Farm. These greens are picked the morning they are delivered to keep them as fresh as possible. Grown with no sprays.
Thanks in part to an early last frost date the trees that we source cherries from are laden w/ fruit. Look for these around mid-June. And early Blueberries usually start in late June.
Have you tried the fresh, locally grown mushrooms from Inspiration Acres yet? Several folks who have said they are the best oyster mushrooms they have ever had. Vegan? – Ray suggests smoking them and then shredding them for a veggie barbeque.
