Happy New Year from the Milkhouse Crew!

2021 was another interesting year to say the least.  One thing we know for sure…beer made it a little better.  We would like to extend our gratitude for each and every one who came out to the farm to enjoy our Maryland grown libations.  We hope to see you all in 2022. Cheers!

In case you haven’t heard…

Spotlight on CrocBite Guitars

If you visit Milkhouse during the month of January you will surely notice an eclectic collection of hand-crafted cigar box instruments, made by our very own Brewer Harry, adorning our taproom walls.

Harry built his first stringed instrument at the age of nine.  Many years later, Harry found himself revisiting the idea after seeing a cigar box guitar played at a local rock and roll show.  It amazed him that something so simple in construction could sound so raw and emotional.

So he built one… and then another, and another, and another… honing his skills further with each build.  Harry quickly branched out to build mandolins, banjos, six string guitars, and ukuleles.

In 2011 he started CrocBite Guitars, and has been building steadily ever since.

Harry’s guitars will be on display and available for purchase at the brewery through the end of January.  Come on by and check them out.
